PRIVACY POLICY

Metrics for you, S.L. (hereinafter, Metricfy) states its commitment to comply with current legislation in force at all times in terms of data protection, specifically with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council as data processor, and other applicable legislation. In accordance with article 5 of Law 15/1999, of December 13, on the Protection of Personal Data, Users are informed that the personal data provided in the Platform will be automatically processed, and will become part of the files owned by Metrics for you, S.L., as the data controller of these files.

What is the legitimation for the treatment of your data?

In the registration process, each user may voluntarily give their express consent for the use of their data, according to this privacy policy. Also when navigating through Metricfy’s web pages, the user can include his or her data in Metricfy’s subscriber file. The purpose of this file is to communicate new developments in the application, offers and also information that may be useful for the user to create their own personalized services. In both cases, the user can always exercise his or her rights regarding the processing and use of his or her data.

 

What personal information do we collect from the People that visit our website?

The information we received through the Platform from the User is gathered as explained below:

a) Information provided directly by the User:

Metricfy collects and stores certain information that User enters into the Platform:

Registration Data: the information that the User provides us when an account is created in the Platform, this is, the name of the User, email, address … etc.

User Profile Information: the information that User´s adds in the Platform in order to use the Service. The User can view and edit the personal data of his profile when he deems appropriate.

Data of the User’s account: the information provided by the User on the Platform based on the data capture by Metricfy.

Additional information that the User wants to share: any other information that the User could provide to Metricfy for other purposes.

b) Information that the Users provided us indirectly:

Data derived from the Use of the Platform: Metricfy collects the data derived from the Use of the Platform by the User each time it interacts with the Platform.

Device data: Metricfy stores the data of the connection device that the User uses to access the Service. These are: Internet IP address used for connection to Internet with its computer or mobile phone, information, browser type, version, and operating system, and the type of device, complete clickstream of Uniform Resource Locators (URL) including the date and time, User’s cookie number, browsing history, and the User’s preferences.

Data derived from the origin of the User: if the User arrives at Metricfy Website through an external source (such as a link from another web page or from a social network), Metricfy collects the data from the source from which the User proceeds.

Data from “cookies”: Metricfy uses its own and third-party cookies to facilitate navigation to its Users for statistical purposes.

Data derived from external third-parties: Metricfy may collect information or personal data from external third-parties only if the User authorizes those third- parties to share the information.

 

How do we use your information?


1.- Metricfy uses the collected data from the User, from its web site, and from its web server, in order to provide the User’s requested service through its Platform account, according to the mechanism established in the “Terms of Use”.

2.- Metricfy also uses the information in order to investigate and analyze how to improve the services provided to the Users, as well as to develop and to improve the Service’s characteristics.

3.- Metricfy can also use the Users’ information with the aim of detecting and of investigating frauds, as well as other illegal activities and potential breakings of our “Terms of Use”.

4.- Internally, Metricfy uses the information with statistical effects of analyzing the behavior and the tendencies of the Users, of understanding how they use the Platform, and of managing and improving the offered services, including the possibility of adding new emblems.

5.-Also, Metricfy will be able to use the personal details that the User facilitates to realize communications through emails and/or to send SMS to the User about the operating of the service.

6.- On the other hand, Metricfy, with the assent of the User, will be able to send to the Users’ e-mail, promotional messages and/or offers relative to the Service. If the User does not want to receive the mentioned information and/or commercial communications, it will be able to choose in any moment the option “Cancel the subscription” in the proper e-mail, and consistently, Metricfy will stop sending the said information immediately.   .

7.-If the User connects its account to another social network or to the web of a third one, Metricfy might use the information transferred to this social network or third, whenever the above mentioned information has been put itself at the disposal of Metricfy with the assent of the User.  

 

How long will we maintain your personal data?

The personal data provided will be maintained until requested by the User for a period of 24 months from the last interaction.

 

Do we share the personal data that we collect?

The personal data that we collect will be exclusively used to achieve the object defined in the “Terms of Use”. Metricfy will not transfer the User’s data to other companies except for certain services of our website, and always with prior User’s consent. At all times, the only recipient of the information contained in your personal data will be Metricfy, except that you voluntarily, and expressly want the disclosure of such personal information through the website, in order to be able to provide certain services related to the activities of this website.

 

What rights does the user have?

Metricfy gives the User access to a large amount of information about its account and its operations in the website so the user can see, and in certain cases, update that information.

Any user may access his profile and complete and/or edit it as his convenience. The information and data provided by the User will be available at all times in the User’s account, and may be modified by the user through the edit profile option.

The User may exercise its rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition, taking into account that the exercise of these rights is personal, so it will be necessary for the user to prove his identity. The exercise of these rights must be made in writing signed by the holder of the data, indicating its address, attaching a copy of its National Identity Document (DNI) or other supporting document, addressed to the Metricfy email.

As indicated above, if the User wishes to stop receiving emails from Metricfy, the User can adjust its subscriptions by pressing the “You can cancel subscription” link at the footer of our emails.

 

How do we protect your information?

Metricfy has taken the necessary measures to maintain the level of security required, according to the nature of the personal data processed, and the circumstances of the treatment, in order to avoid, as far as possible, and always according to the state of the art, alteration, loss, processing or unauthorized access. As mentioned above, the personal data provided will not be transferred to third parties without prior authorization of the User.

Likewise, Metricfy informs Users that they have the right to exercise before the Spanish Data Protection Agency, as the Control Authority competent in the area of Data Protection, the effective protection of the rights recognized herein.
